This piece is a contemporary Tawa Leaf with a small Pepe/Moth as the suspension hole. Tawa are a wide spead canopy tree throughout the North Island and the top of the South Island. Tawa produce a large dark purple berry that is one of the primary food sources for Kēreru and Kōkako. The Pepe/Moth is a Cryptasmasma Querula whos lava feed on Tawa and Miro fruit.
